Installation Instructions
NOTE: On a flat surface squeegee decals
to reattach application tape that might have released during shipping.
 |
Step
1: Clean the surface with alcohol or window cleaner. Tape Decals
in place with masking tape. Using the bottom of the decal as a guide,
make adjustments to ensure it's straight and level.
|
 |
| Step 2: Once your decal is level
and in the desired spot. Tape the Center down. This will act as
your 'hinge' and will also hold the decal in place. |
 |
| Step 3: Take either side and peel back the
top layer. This will pull the decal up with it. If a decal has prematurely
released from application tape. You will need to lay the application tape
back over the decal and rub down until the application tape has reattached
to the decal. Now pull the application tape with decal attached back to
the center tape, and cut and remove that portion of the backing wax paper. |
|
| Step 4: Hold the transfer paper
just above the surface with little slack. Squeegee from the center
out in a up and down motion. Use enough pressure to force air bubbles
out from underneath the graphic. |
|
| Step 5: Remove the center tape and peel
back the remaining side. If a decal has prematurely released from application
tape. You will need to lay the application tape back over the decal and rub
down until the application tape has reattached to the decal. Discard the
wax paper backing. repeat step 4, Squeegee from the center out in an up
and down motion. |
|
| Step 6: Squeegee the graphic down
one more time to make sure its properly adhered. Spray the transfer
paper with a water bottle (optional) and then pull the transfer
paper back on itself. Pop any air bubbles with a pin and rub the
air out with your finger. That's it! You've successfully installed
your graphic! You can hit the water right away if you want. |
