All the registration numbers measure within the legal limits (check your local regulations). We make them 3 inches tall by approximately 22 inches long. Although the length varies depending on the font style you choose.

Although this may also vary from state to state the general rule is it must be on the front end of the watercraft. Placed above the water-line and should be visible from a good distance.

The numbers should be in stark contrast to the background and be clearly visible at a reasonable distance when the craft is operating. A current registration label must also be attached to the craft.

The registration numbers and label must take precedence over decals and striping provided to decorate or customize the PWC.

This varies from state to state. Generally when you buy your boat you will get a paper with your registration number on it. The format varies but it usually looks like this;

We now offer numbers with fades. You can pick a fade color and outline it with another color.

How durable are these decals?

We use high performance 2.5 mil glossy vinyl. Manufacturer information claims a minimum life of 5 years under vertical outdoor exposure.
Unless your boat is never covered and is exposed to the sun year round, you can expect your decals to last up to 7 years or more.
Two exceptions however, are our chrome and neon colors which are rated for 6-9 months.

I messed one up, can I order just one more?

Of course! Our order forms do not support single ordering. So you can e-mail us and request a single decal. The cost is exactly half of the price for a full set.

We stock a variety of colors to fit most needs. Take a look at our colors menu to see what colors we carry. We cannot fill orders for special colors at this time. If you don't see it on our colors menu, we don't have it.
Also we can't guarantee a perfect color match to our color menu. This is due to the difference between the way different computer monitors display colors.
Every attempt was made to make the color menu as accurate as possible.

Since every order is custom made we cannot accept returns. If you chose the wrong color and realize it right after placing your order
e-mail us and we can fix it before your order is made.
If you receive your decals in the mail and discover you've made the wrong color choice, you'll have to reorder.   

How do I take these decals off?

Old fashioned elbow grease. Just like any decal you usually have to peel it off by hand. Pick at a corner with your fingernail until you can grab it and peel it off. Using a heat gun or hair dryer will help it come off easier. If there is adhesive left over you can use Rapid Remover™ ,WD40™, or alcohol based cleaners.
Note: Harsh chemicals may damage or destroy your boat finish, PLEASE USE CAUTION!
